ISL Supporting Law Enforcement and First Responders Against Accidental Opioid (Fentanyl) Overdose

September 5, 2017

There is an opioid epidemic in the United States.   One of the hidden dangers of this crises is accidental opioid overdose by first responders including paramedics and law enforcement who are near or handle the dangerous substances.

CNN has done a great job detailing the crises in an article titled “DEA Warns First Responders of Accidental Overdose Risk” which links to a critical briefing by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) published titled “Fentanyl – A Briefing for First Responders”.

We encourage all of our first responder and law enforcement partners to download this critical briefing to learn more about the crisis and how to protect you and your teams from accidental exposure.
